Energy & Underground Installations
TRBA - CLOSING THE LOOP
The organisation of general road works often requires collaboration with other companies. Their specific task is to create underground networks for various distribution network managers and operators (electricity, fibre optics, water, gas, etc.).
For the project manager, this collaboration regularly poses difficulties in terms of planning and coordinating the multiple interventions and complex discussions between the different parties which can become contentious if deadlines are not met.
TRBA’s Energy and Underground Installations division is a great asset to the company and it is perfectly integrated into our current structure. After all, the job of a contractor is very similar to that of a pipeline installer. The difference lies in way the staff is trained to use the different authorised energy types, as well as the presence of qualified, in-house expert staff to install the connections and supply lines for each energy type.
SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE TO OUR STAFF :
- Capstan winches for cable pulling
- IntelliJets for blowing cables and fibre optic cables
- Motorised winding machines on a trailer
- Containers equipped with coil holders
- Cleavers and fibre-optic welders
- Lift beams
SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT :
- Pressure test pumps (up to 40 bar)
- Recording and control units for blowing data
- Traction data recorders with a dynamometer
POOLING OF RESOURCES
Our human and material resources allow us to offer a comprehensive ‘turnkey’ package to our customers. This provides plenty of benefits both for the project manager, who now has only one contact person and thus the guarantee of a better operational synergy on site, and for our company, which can better manage the planning and proper execution of all the works internally.
The Energy & Underground Installations division also helps customers, whether public or private, with the dimensioning and installation of their static or dynamic and smart lighting. This allows for a drastic reduction in consumption and promotes sustainable development.
