Construction of a roundabout on the RN518 - Route de la laine
TRBA laid the continuous reinforced concrete surface on the new roundabout at Route de la laine.
This operation required a 60-m boom pump to reach the smallest nooks and crannies of this roundabout, which has a diameter of 80 m. 460 m³ of concrete and 2,000 m² of reinforcement were required for the installation of a layer with a thickness of 23 cm. Our teams worked continuously for 12 hours using a vibrating beam to ‘close the loop’ of this structure.
This roundabout is part of the last phase of the construction site of the RN518, which also includes 3 storm water basins of 24,000 m³, 50,000 m³ of excavation, 11,500 m² of continuous concrete, and 2 bores under the railway tracks.
