
Development of the Grand Place in Mouscron
Complete redevelopment of the Grand Place in Mouscron. TRBA is laying 5,600 m² of discontinuous reinforced concrete and 8,000 m² of Belgian blue stone paving. A 113-m³ culvert was created under the Grand Place.
The war memorial, the Hurlu statue and the steps of the historic Town Hall have been renovated and put in the spotlight. About twenty trees have been planted. A set of 18 illuminated fountains, a 63-m mist fountain and scenic lighting further enhance the space.
The second phase of the project is currently underway in the streets of Courtrai and Menin.
